Irish farmer turns manure into bitcoins.

Irish farmer Tom Campbell turns cow manure into digital gold. He uses the manure itself (Campbell has a big farm in County Armagh), mining equipment and anaerobic digestion.

Campbell usually uses the electricity he produces for his farm. But if a surplus appears, the man plugs in the mining units.

The anaerobic digestion method is the extraction of energy through the decomposition of waste products. Campbell's farm produces up to 700 kWh of electricity this way.
