The upcoming BRICS summit will be face-to-face
South African President Ramaphosa said the upcoming BRICS summit in Johannesburg will be face-to-face
"We will have a face-to-face BRICS summit... It will not be virtual," he said in a video he posted on Twitter.
The president also recalled that no face-to-face BRICS summit had been held for almost three years.
BRICS includes Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa. Several other countries intend to join the economic bloc, including Argentina, Iran and, according to the Chinese Foreign Ministry, Indonesia, Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Egypt.
