The heat in St. Petersburg set a second consecutive daily record - Interfax

The air in the northern capital warmed to plus 30.6 degrees on Thursday. The previous high, set in 1941, was 0.7 degrees below yesterday's temperature.

On Wednesday, August 17 in St. Petersburg also updated the daily temperature record. Thermometers showed plus 30.1 degrees, which is 0.2 degrees higher than the previous maximum recorded in 2008.
