The Central Bank of Russia follows the trend: elaboration of ESG risks may become mandatory

The Bank of Russia will work on the possibility of creating special financial instruments aimed at decarbonization and greening. Companies from "dirty" industries will be able to buy such instruments and will be able to become not so "dirty", follows from the idea of the Central Bank.

And the Bank of Russia proposes to develop a national system of carbon regulation and a system of exchange trading in carbon units, as in the U.S. and Europe.

But all these aims are long term. It is unlikely that such ideas will be realized in the near future. There are more important questions, namely: how to save the Russian economy?
