According to the forecasts of the head of the State Duma Committee on Financial Market, the first CFA may be issued in the Russian Federation by the end of 2022.

VTB also plans to test the purchase of digital financial assets for digital rubles in September, VTB board member Svyatoslav Ostrovsky said.

He noted that the bank plans to start the exchange of non-cash rubles into digital rubles for the subsequent purchase of CFA as early as next year.
