Omicron subvariants BA.4 and BA.5 continue to spread across Europe and Africa

Omicron subvariants BA.4 and BA.5 continue to spread across Europe and Africa

WHO reports that Omicron subvariants have been found in Botswana, South Africa, Germany, Denmark and other countries. BA.4 and BA.5 do not yet appear to be more infectious or deadly than the original omicron mutation, but this is not definitive.
