NSD suspended transactions in euros for banking activities - RBC

Transactions in euros by Russian banks with non-residents are now not serviced. This means that Russian companies will not be able to import goods paid for in euros from abroad. Transactions in other currencies take place as usual.

NSD declared an emergency situation in depository and banking activities amid EU sanctions.

Earlier it was reported about imposition of sanctions against NSD by the EU. An impressive list of assets was at risk of being blocked.
