Nigeria LNG Ltd. announced force majeure circumstances for shipments from the LNG plant. The reason: flooding on Bonny Island.

Interestingly, the gas producer was already operating at reduced capacity due to problems with the quality of raw materials.

NLNG is a subsidiary of the Nigerian National Oil Company and European Shell, TotalEnergies and Eni. Reduced supply from Nigeria carries risks for Europe's supply.
