Italian Prime Minister will visit Algeria tomorrow to sign an agreement on new gas supplies
Draghi, accompanied by Foreign Minister Di Maio, will visit Algeria on Monday to sign an agreement on new natural gas supplies from that country to the Apennines.
"Tomorrow morning, together with President Draghi, I will be in Algeria to sign an important agreement regarding gas that will allow us to respond to possible Russian blackmail on gas," Di Maio said.
Di Maio also recalled that in the last month and a half he visited Algeria, Qatar, Congo, Mozambique, Angola and Azerbaijan, noting that "all these countries have expressed willingness to increase energy supplies to Italy.
According to the foreign minister, this will make the country "more independent from energy blackmail.
