German bankers are preparing for default due to "Russian gas threat" - Bloomberg

According to several senior bankers, German banks will be forced to set aside additional funds to cover a potential spike in defaults if the country is cut off from Russian gas.

Lenders are particularly worried about planned maintenance work on Nord Stream. They believe there are risks of a subsequent complete disconnection of Germany from energy supplies from Russia.
