Former US President Donald Trump continues to be well ahead of the country's other Republican presidential candidates, including Florida Governor Ron Desantis

According to The New York Times poll, Trump gets 54 per cent of the vote, while his main opponent in the Republican primaries, Desantis, gets 17 per cent.
