The construction of mobile LNG terminals will cost the German budget almost twice as much as originally planned.

The publication writes that the Ministry of Economics in 2022 was going to spend about 3 billion euros on terminals, and now the estimate has increased to 6.56 billion.

One of the reasons is that Germany decided to charter the two LNG carriers for 15 years instead of 10.
