Changes in Twitter are beginning: Blue will now cost $8 a month to subscribe

Elon Musk is already beginning his transformation of the social network. The premium subscription will now allow users to post long videos and audio content and see far fewer ads.

Also, every premium subscriber will be marked with a blue check mark, which previously was only for verified media or news pages. Content published with a subscription will get priority in the feed. According to Musk, this will reduce the impact of spam on content.
