Samsung C&T's construction division is launching a grand search for innovative startups to ignite future designs in construction tech.
In an inspiring leap toward the future, Samsung C&T’s construction division has unveiled plans to recruit dynamic startups poised at the forefront of innovation. According to 매일경제, this initiative, titled “2025 Future Scape,” is being launched in collaboration with the Seoul Economic Promotion Agency, aiming to reshape the landscape of construction through groundbreaking ideas and technologies.
Embracing Future Technologies
At the heart of this competition is the drive to explore realms beyond traditional construction. Samsung C&T is seeking ambitious startups offering inventive solutions across various domains. This includes smart apartment housing, wellness solutions, senior services, climate response innovations, next-gen edutech, and beyond. Notably, categories are deliberately expansive to encourage diverse participation and creativity, marking a pivotal moment for startups under 10 years old to seize the stage.
Pioneering Paths for Growth
Selected startups will gain opportunities to push the boundaries of innovation. With two empirical tracks—the Proof of Concept (POC) track and the future tracks—the program fosters both collaboration with Samsung C&T and bolsters value-ups for promising early-stage startups. Participants will benefit from a breadth of support, including market validation, joint tech development, business cooperation, and commercialization funding up to 45 million won.

“We must collaborate with startups whose innovative technologies and ideas will allow us to react rapidly to market changes,” explains Hyung Si-won, Samsung C&T’s DxP Business Strategy Team lead. This endeavor promises not only to innovate existing businesses but also to craft new growth engines that transcend traditional construction industry boundaries, signaling a future filled with potential.
Prospective applicants are invited to submit proposals from April 14th to May 6th. With around 12 startups anticipated to be selected, the race is on to be part of this transformative journey, reshaping the future landscape of construction and beyond.
