Shanghai recovers: Starbucks opens doors after quarantine

Starbucks Corp. said it is reopening its stores in Shanghai. 600 of the 940 locations opened on the third day after restrictions in the region were lifted. So far, the coffee shops are offering takeout orders only.

Bloomberg estimates that Starbucks sales in China could decline 23 percent in the current fiscal year, which will end for the company in early fall.
