Police bust illegal mining farm in school basement in U.S.

Police in Cohasset, Massachusetts are searching for 39-year-old Nadim Nahas. He is accused of secretly setting up a mining farm in the basement of a local school and stealing electricity.

"The farm ran from April to December 2021. It was connected to the institution's power grid the entire time, and the school's budget loss was about $18,000.

Shortly after police uncovered the "farm," he resigned and disappeared. Because of bureaucratic delays, the court did not begin proceedings until recently.
