Only half of crypto companies have an external auditor
Thirty-one of the 60 largest crypto companies have undergone an external financial audit or reserve confirmation, according to a Bloomberg survey.
The survey included representatives from different fields: cryptocurrency exchanges (Binance and Coinbase), miners, token issuers (Tether) and blockchain security analysts (Chainalysis).
Interestingly, 60 companies were offered to participate, but 17 of them refused right away, and 8 never responded to the request.
