Inflation in the EU manufacturing sector went beyond forecasts, price growth accelerated to 35.8%

The producer price index for June rose 1.1%, compared to the forecast of 1.0%. Last month's increase was about 0.5%. On an annualized basis, producer inflation was at 35.8% with a forecast of 35.7%; however, compared to last year the situation has improved slightly.

Retail sales in the EU fell by 1.2% in June, against a forecast of 0.0%. Last month, on the other hand, it showed growth. For the year sales fell by 3.7%, more than twice the forecast.
