Hertz plans to buy up to 65,000 cars from Polestar

Hertz Global Holdings said Monday it plans to buy a large batch of electric cars from Sweden's Polestar within five years. The cars will become available for rent to Hertz customers starting this spring.

Earlier last year, Hertz distinguished itself with an order from Tesla for 100 thousand electric cars. The fleet expansion demonstrates the company's desire to "provide an amazing electric car driving experience" to a wider audience.
