Circle has been licensed in Singapore

Stablecoin issuer USDC Circle announced that it has successfully registered as a licensed payment institution (MPI) in Singapore.

The permit enables the company to serve customers in three areas:

• domestic payments;
• cross-border transfers;
• crypto asset transactions.
