Bali threatens to deport tourists for using crypto

The Bali government has warned foreign tourists about the ban on the use of cryptocurrency when paying at hotels, restaurants and other places.

"Foreign tourists who violate these provisions will be severely punished. We will take various measures - deportation, administrative fines, criminal penalties. And also to close commercial premises and implement other harsh sanctions," said regional governor Wayan Koster.
